Have to feel for Dimitrov 2 Break points at 4-4 couldn't convert and it's all over 5 mins later

Hopefully he can live up to his potential this year I'll definitely have to get some of what Nadals been taking while he's been laid up!

Nadal I mean.

Re: Australian Open
I am pretty sure my memory serves me correctly. I would agree though that Nalda is the favourite, his relentless style could overpower Federer at 35. Part of me wants fed to win as it would surely be his last slam but also happy for Nadal as he seems a nice guy too.

Every chance I read it wrong, as I am a bit of a cock!

Re: Australian Open
Grumpster: The grass head to head cant be 0-2 as Nadal beat Fed in the epic 2008 final but Fed won the previous 2 finals I think.

yes I agree with that statement sven

Re: Australian Open
Reckon this will be Federer's last year but he wont say it as he wont want the pressure on.
Great to see Nadal v Federer probably for the last time in a Grand Slam final.

Be quiet soldo, or I'll start agreeing with Jonah that Basketball and Ice Hockey are much better sports than horse racing*

*Ok so that will never happen, as those two sports bore me to death!

Re: Australian Open
11 meetings in slams, 9 wins for Rafa.

Clay - 5-0
Hard - 4-0
Grass - 0-2

Have to say that at 5 years younger, he has to be the bet.

Re: Australian Open
There was a time when betting on Nadal to beat Federer in a slam was like printing money.

Markets have Nadal slight favourite at 1.82.

Stunning game of tennis that.

An absolute belter.

Who would have bet on a Nadal/Federer final in any Slam of 2017?

Epic battle going on 3-3 final set.

Great game this as Dimitrov levels it up at two sets all

Re: Australian Open
Some set of tennis that, brilliant stuff from both.

Never seen Dimitrov play so well.

Re: Australian Open
Just to add to the tension of Rafa serving to stay in the 3rd set, some selfish fucker has had a heart attack in the crowd!!

Re: Australian Open
Eurosport do a great job with the coverage using John McEnroe and Mats Wilander as the expert match commentators.
Presume BBC will show the men's final live ... or do they only do it when Sir Andrew of Murrray is playing in it?

Re: Australian Open
The BBC's coverage of this is rank. 45 minute highlights show with commentators who sound as though English is their second language. The BBC might as well wind up the 'sport' department and just call it the football and snooker department.
